Liturgy of the Word For Children
Children's Liturgy of the Word is an opportunity for adults to share their faith with children whose ages range from 4 through 11 years. After the Opening Prayer of the Mass, the priest dismisses the children to experience the day's Scriptures on a level which they can appreciate. A prayer leader reads the Sunday readings to the children from a Children's lectionary, and then spends time sharing the message from the readings. Interested prayer leaders must comply with the Child Protection Policy of the Archdiocese of Washington and be able to attend Children's Liturgy of the Word at Sunday 11:00 AM Mass. We always need adults and teens to share the work of this exciting ministry. Training and resource material are provided.

Usher/Greeter Ministry
The primary goal of the Usher/Greeter ministry is to greet all who enter the church and assist as needed. It is important that all who attend services feel welcome and comfortable. The Usher/Greeters will assist anyone who may have special needs and take care of logistical requirements (e.g. taking up collections, guiding, handing out bulletins, etc.).
