Angel Tree Program
Damascus children and/or families in need are assisted at Christmastime by donations of gifts from parishioners. Volunteers are needed to help organize, prepare and deliver donated items.
Collections Help
As the need arises, sort/organize donated items (such as blankets, food, school supplies) into bins, move items from the Church to temporary storage or deliver items.
Gaithersburg Community Soup Kitchen - The Lord's Table
Gaithersburg Community Soup Kitchen is run by volunteers who serve meals to those in need. Saint Paul volunteers serve on the 1st Thursday and the 2nd Tuesday each month (Oct - June), and provide small gift bags on those days.
Good As New Sale
There are two sales each year in the Spring and Fall. Help is needed to put up flyers/signs, setup and sort donations, sell items, cleanup afterward, pack/deliver unsold items. We welcome donations and paper bags for sold items the week before the sale. Announcements will be made in our bulletins regarding specific dates.
Gospel of Life Program

Holiday Basket/Meal Programs
Thanksgiving Baskets/Meals, Christmas Baskets/Meals, and Easter Baskets are prepared and presented to Damascus community members in need. Volunteers are needed to help gather, organize and deliver donated items.
Honduras Clinic
Saint Paul parish sponsors a health clinic in Honduras. Donations and volunteers are always needed. Two mission trips are scheduled yearly. Visit our Honduras Clinic page for more information. Contact Sherrie Wade at [email protected].
Meals for families in need
Prepare/deliver a meal to a local family in need. Provide assistance to fellow parishioners during sickness or bereavement. Contact Andrea Marshall-Chite at [email protected].
Pastoral Care program
